About Cleo

Sabrina Condie (California, 1996), professionally known as Cleo, is a Santa Monica based artist focused on bringing joy, thoughtfulness, and connection to the world through art. She finds inspiration on her nature hikes and urban walks, in the vastness and beauty of space and the universe, and in the old school candy shop colors and circular patterns. In her art, she plays with colors, textures, and shapes and is known to question society while bringing optimism to a space through her pieces. She loves experimenting with new mediums but feels most at home painting and creating large scale sculptures made from resin, fiberglass, chicken wire, or cotton balls (or a combination of the 4).

Studying film, psychology, and environmental policy and culture in undergrad sparked her creativity and love for deep conversations, Earth, and humanity. She loves hosting dinner parties using seasonal farmers market produce, going on sunset walks in Santa Monica, practicing yoga and mindfulness, and playing board games with her husband Peter. She is also known to be a mediocre mini golfer and impressively average bowler.

She is currently excited to be working on her cookbook, experimenting with new mediums and art forms, and designing pieces for her exhibit “Cleo 1623,” an extraterrestrial gallery bringing a whole new planet and world to life.
